研究：眼形攝影機有助於研發電子視網膜

這個裝置將許多矽探測器織入彈性網狀物內，大小及形狀都像人類眼睛，可能帶領科學家研發出新一代不失真數位攝影機。
目前已經在進行多項實驗，看看這種裝置是否有其它用途，包括可以偵測人腦表面電子訊號的超薄彈性監視器。
這項發表在英國科學雜誌「自然」的研究指出，這項突破性設計也為研發人工電子視網膜指出發展方向，或許終有一天能幫助視障者恢復視力。
與西北大學黃永剛（譯音：Yonggan Huang）一起主導這項研究的伊利諾大學工程師羅傑斯說：「這個方法讓我們能將電子裝置放到之前無法到達的地方。」
動物的眼睛能自然彎曲捕捉影像，但直至目前為止，人工視覺系統都只是平面式圖像記錄器。
