Once editing is complete,users canshowcase theirimages in Photoshop Lightroom with theSlideshow, Printand Web modules.

Lightroom 1.3.1 and the new Camera Raw 4.2 plug-in support14additionaldigital cameras including the Canon EOS 40D; FujiFinePixIS-1; LeafAptus 17, 54s and 75s; Olympus EVOLT E-510;PanasonicDMC-FZ18; PentaxK100D Super; Phase One P 20+, P 21+, P 25+, P30+ andP 45+; and SonyA700. Both updates also include improvednoisereduction for Bayerpatterned sensors, providing better imagedetail atdefault noisereduction values. The Lightroom updateincludescorrections to MicrosoftWindows Vista grid display errors andXMPauto-write performance.
What's new in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom v.1.3?
Lightroom 1.3 includes corrections for the following issues:
- Writing XMP metadata automatically has been corrected for performance issues.
- Printing with the native resolution option enabled no longer sets the wrong dimension for portrait oriented images.
- Prior to Camera Raw 4.3 there was the possibility thatartifactsinedge transitions could be introduced through the Bayerdemosaicandluminance noise reductions algorithms. This has beencorrected.
- The Canon sRAW format and the Fuji compressed RAF formats are now supported.
Lightroom 1.3.1 includes the following enhancements:
- The import dialog now offers the option to render 1:1 previews as part of the import process.
- The export dialog layout has been enhanced.
- A Lightroom Preview Export SDK is available for developerstocreateand distribute Export Plug-ins. Further details are locatedonAdobeLabs.
