傑克強森，從未想要成為超級巨星。他有他的道理跟堅持。
2001年起，發行三張個人專輯和四張電影原聲帶（三部衝浪+一部動畫），唱片公司大老闆摸不著頭緒，這個衝浪選手怎會一次比一次暢銷，簽約金立刻加兩倍，然後傑克強森也立刻退回：「用錢買人買歌的想法，令我不安。」還好大老闆有慧根，改成一張空白合約：「尊重你的一切決定。」這才喚回傑克強森，讓他能安心創作。
安心創作，說來可不簡單。首先，他成立自己的音樂廠牌Brushfire Records，廣邀同好Matt Costa、ALO等創作歌手加入，不讓環球高層干預任何音樂製作；然後，他在夏威夷的自宅蓋起名為「芒果樹」錄音室，屋頂舖滿太陽能版，以太陽能發電錄製專輯，不用耗電的電腦錄音軟體, 不斷彩排演唱新歌，然後一氣呵成將歌曲錄製在盤帶上，另外，再詳加確定全世界都採用百分百再生紙印製專輯。取之於大自然，用之於好音樂，一個人的堅持，讓全世界找回音樂最初的感動與美好。傑克強森第四張個人專輯【夢想國度】，讓人佩服的五體投地。
【夢想國度】伴奏樂團除了老班底Adam Topol(鼓)、Merlo Podlewski(貝斯)外，正式將巡迴夥伴Zach Gill(鍵盤)納入編制，並與首張專輯『Brushfire Fairytales』製作人JP Plunier再度合作。隨著年紀增長、世事變遷，他明白人生不可能隨時都遇見完美的浪，於是他的全新故事裡有風雨、有巨浪、也有陽光，「有些歌是關於小孩，有些是描述他們成長的這個世界：充滿了戰爭、但也有愛與仇恨。還有些是向我所愛的人們道別，以及對他們的思念。」 首支單曲“If I Had Eyes”，傑克強森用歌聲唱出朋友面對感情的紛亂情緒，更找來他三歲兒子Moe幫忙唱合音；專輯開場曲“All At Once”提醒大家動身為我們生活的地球盡份心力，而專輯同名曲“Sleep Through The Static”則對現今世界的戰爭提出反思。這是傑克強森，用他的力量在改變世界，你呢？不如跟著全球1500萬樂迷，一起移民到他的【夢想國度】去吧。
